Until 2010, according to the Afro-American tradition, the music of the Sarah Sheppard Spirituals was always accompanied by rhythmic movement and gesture appropriate to the location of the performance (church, theatre, open-air space). This was prepared by Oreste Palamara, the group's Artistic Director. It is still possible to see some of our choreographed concerts in our old videos.
